MAKITA CIRCULAR SAWS

Toptopdeal Makita DSS501Z Lightweight 18v Lithium-ion Cordless Circular Saw

Makita DSS501Z lightweight 18v lithium-ion cordless circular saw, which has a maximum cutting depth of 51 mm at 90 ° and 35 mm at 45 °, the ergonomic plan gives the client more noteworthy comfort for longer usage. The cutting is done by teeth on the edge of a metal blade or by an abrasive wheel. So there is no need to upgrade your batteries to 36V, just use your existing 3.0Ah and 4.0Ah 18V Lithium-ion batteries from your current Makita power tools.

A blower device, designed primarily for cutting sheet material, blows the sawdust off the cut line at a maximum thickness of 25.5 mm. Makita DSS501Z Circular saws with these blade diameters are commonly in the middle of the blade diameter range. Li-ion is the latest technology, Ni-MH and Ni-Cad were the original prior to that.

  • Brushless DC motor with high power to weight and size ratio
  • Soft start feature gradually increases speed to eliminate start up shock.
  • LED job light that creates an easy to trace cutting line.
  • Safety cover with calibration line for adjusting the depth

If circular saw not run?

If the Makita DSS501Z circular saw doesn’t work a motor brush could be bad at all. The motor brush comes into contact with a rotating motor armature which provides voltage to run the motor. The brush can burn or cause damage to the armature by interrupting the current flow. Inspect for burns or harm in the brush.

If the Motor is run but the blade does not!

If the engine is running and the blade is not cutting, either the clutch is poor or needs to be adjusted. The clutch is an odd-looking washer where the blade is fixed onto the saw arbor by the bolt. The Makita DSS501Z circular saw probably came in with blade mounting equipment. Snug the bolt down of the clutch and you’re all right to go. If it’s too old it’ll need to be replaced. Older saws had a diamond-shaped arbor on which the saw blade was powered.

If the engine does not cut deeply

Disable the depth adjustment knob (knob on the opposite side of the blade) and raise the flat metal bottom piece until one blade tooth extends below the segment you want to cut. Then take the change knob off again before turning the saw on.

Circular saw an issue with smoking

On a circular saw, you can face two different types of smoking problem, and they are:

  • Circular smoking has seen from the blade region.

Circular saw emanates a thin layer of smokes from the blade region when it carries the blade or blade related accessories in an issue.

  • Circular saw engine smoking.
    • Engine oil was fried.
    • An inappropriate mixture of fuel.
    • Dirty filter to the surface.

Open the plate which covers the circular saw engine first. You can do that quickly by simply untightening the holding nut. Detach and inspect the air filter from the engine. If you’re seeing debris on the air filter, clean it up.

What to do when cutting with a circular saw?

  • Don’t put your hand under your saw shoe or gun.
  • Don’t hold the saw on the trigger switch with one finger.
  • Test the saw to rotate the blade properly.
  • Make sure the blade you choose is sharp enough to do the job. Sharp blades are better at working and are healthier.
  • Do not rotate the saw to change direction, cut or test it.

 Safety tips:

  • To control saws, use two hands – one on a trigger switch and the other on a front knob handle.
  • For the stock to be cut, pick the appropriate blade and allow it to cut steadily. Don’t push it on.
  • Enable the saw to reach full power before cutting begins.
  • Switch off the power supply before modifying or adjusting the blade.
  • Maintain motor free from dust and chip accumulation.
  • Using safety glasses or shades, or a face shield.

How do I run a MAKITA NAILERS?

Toptopdeal Makita GF600SE Nailer

Such MAKITA GF600SE NAILERS hybrid versions, instead of using compressed air or combustion to produce driving force, use a rotating electric motor that compresses a strong spring. The Makita GF600SE is a gas-powered cordless brad nailer suitable for 16 gauge straight finish nails. It has a fast, easy-to-see charging system. For ease in operation and repair, LED indicator lamp with battery power alert and trouble detection features.

Nail weapons, depending on the nailgun’s size, use fasteners fixed in long clips or collated in a paper or plastic container. Nose tip designed to make the workpiece more visible for quick and easy access to the desired driving stage. The spring is suddenly released as you pull the trigger, which provides the energy needed to drive the nail into the wood.

  • Aggressive spikes allow for a firm grip on the material when firing.
  • The air filter protects the cylinder from dirt and debris to prevent malfunction.
  • Soft nose tip used to prevent marking the workpiece. Notched to help with alignment for accurate nailing.
  • Simple storage, not using hoses and compressors, using fuel gas as a power source.

Nailer isn’t working properly:

The Makita GF600SE gas fuel cell is empty, out-of-date or not properly installed The incorrect form of nails is being used Non-compatible nails, petrol, etc. are being used Cleaning the nailer needs – particularly if it has been used extensively without regular cleaning!

Weird appearance:

  • A motor problem.
  • A fan problem, for example, it hits something inside the device.
  • The nailer needs cleaning.

Driver Issues:

If your driver doesn’t retract or retract without much control, then you should first consider air pressure. But it can also be attributed to improperly working internal parts that need to be repaired, with sealers and o-rings being a top contender for the issue if you know all else in order.

Trigger issues:

Never simultaneously actuate the switch trigger and touch factor until the workpieces are ready to be fastened. Allow the contact element to depress by the workpiece. Never defeat its intent by back-securing the contact element or by manually depressing it.

Damage to battery contacts:

The contacts were twisted, e.g. when you attach and remove the battery. It also makes the use of non-compatible batteries. The contacts are coated with soil or stubs. Contacts suffer from corrosion, for example, damage to water.

If the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, such as clips of paper, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can attach from one terminal to another.

Safety guide work with Nailer

  • Suppose the package also contains fasteners. Careless handling of the nailer will lead to unexpected fastener shooting and personal injury.
  • Wear safety glasses always to protect your eyes from damage to the dust or fastener.
  • Please remove the battery cartridge before the fasteners are loaded, modified, checked, maintained or after the operation is over.
  • Do not misuse the device, or try to use it for fasteners other than driving.
  • Until service makes sure no one is nearby. Never try to drive fasteners simultaneously from both inside and outside of the frame. The fasteners will tear and/or fly off, posing serious danger.

Blade

The Makita DJR360ZK blade of the reciprocating saw is without a doubt a potent tool that can be used for many tasks. Depending on the material and the length of the blade, its use can vary. You can use diamond grit blades if you are into more difficult and more significant tasks.

Battery

Cordless reciprocating saws, on the other hand, are the ones that count with a battery. Cordless ones are preferred among the public since they are easier and more comfortable to handle.

 Variable Speed & Control System

Some reciprocating saws come with just one speed, there are a few models that come with a complete speed & control system. This can be used depending on the material you are trying to cut, and how efficient is your blade.

Toptopdeal Makita DJR360ZK1 Reciprocating Saw

How Do Reciprocating Saws Work?

When you turn on a reciprocating saw, the battery will start moving a piston up and down, which pushes a clamp, attached to that piston. This clamp is the one holding the blade and is the one that will make the blade go back and forth. The efficiency of the blade of the reciprocating saw will depend mainly on the power of the battery it uses. The more the power it has, the quicker and better the blade will work.

How to use a Makita Planer?

Toptopdeal Makita DKP180Z 18V LXT Li Ion Cordless 82mm Planer

Makita Planer is capable of cutting a straight line with one move. The handle design allows you to grasp the tool comfortably and do a job with ease. The big planing width lets you work as wide as 82 mm on wood. With the simple adjustment of depth settings, you can pick the depth of each cut with minimal trouble. This ergonomically designed planer is comfortable in the side, and makes an incredible 14,000 cuts per minute, making stock removal synch.

Use this to level joists, quickly close stubborn doors and to create projects in your workshop. The hand planer yowled and chewed, a blizzard of shavings showering the room. Those joists were lovely and smooth in no time.

Quick edges of the Shape Deck tag. Then center the V-notch on the timber corner in the front foot, then make a long, continuous pass. Then carry on making long, smooth passes until you reach the desired depth.

Using a Makita Planer

The Makita hand planer sits on a foot, or sole pad, like a hand plane Like a jointer, the planer has blades mounted on a cutter head or drum that spins at 14,000 rpm, cutting wood equal to the height difference between the front and rear feet.

Get the most out of the device by understanding the correct way to hold the planer and move it. Correct management of your body guarantees the stability and the best results in preparation.

Balance means standing apart with your feet in a posture you can find comfort at the workpiece throughout the complete tool transfer. Each planer pass involves a stability rhythm and a hand pressure:

  • Start the machine, let the motor reach full speed, then make contact with the job easier for the plane and drive it forward steadily.
  • Pressure balance between the handle of the tool and the front knob as both planer soles touch the work.
  • Hold the initial front grip pressure on as the planer reaches the workpiece.
  • Apply greater control to “pick” the rear handle when moving the tool off the job. Stop over-reaching at the end of a pass; the front shoe drops off the wood and causes the blades to take an uneven bite off the wood end.

Safety Tips:

  • Upon turning off the tool, protect yourself and the work — and the blades — by putting the hand planer’s front shoe upon a block of wood as the spinning cutter head stops.
  • Look out for the speed and ease with which you use your hand planer when your neighbors see it! To keep track of all the lenders you will need to have a sign-out folder.
  • As with all power tools, wearing appropriate safety equipment protects the eyes and ears.
  • Work safely above your head by putting walk planks between two ladders, in line with your cutting path.

Makita‘s 18 Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Planer, which is the body only has a lock-on button that gives the user the option of continuous operation on the Toptopdeal site. You can take down a piece of wood with even increments and precision with every moving across a floor. This planer has a shoe on the underside for protection and to prevent damage to work surfaces, this is to stop the planer from inadvertently laying down while the blade is still moving.

How to choose the best Mitre Saw.

Everyone who looking to make precise cuts, over and over, needs to own a miter saw.  Understanding the key features of a mitre saw. Plus extra benefits like laser and dust extraction will make sure you’ll own the mitre saw that will do the job properly.

Blades

The blade is what determines the depth or height of the cut. Mitre saws normally come with 8, 10 or 12-inch blades.

Mitre

A mitre saw cuts mitres or angled cuts. The saw is normally preset to adjust to various popular angles such as 45º for right angle joints. Some saws will only mitre to one side, most will mitre to the left or the right making it quicker to use.

Slide

Cutting on a sliding action allows you to cut pieces of wood with greater widths. As with blade size, check the specs of the saws you’re looking at for capacities of cut they make.

Accessories

There are different styles of blades on the market. When choosing a blade, the packaging will tell you the type of material it is for and the type of cut you can expect.

Bevel

Some are double bevel meaning they will tilt left or right. So the wood doesn’t need to be turned depending on the angle you will cut. This bevelling action allows complex angled cuts to be performed in tasks like crown molding or furniture making.

Makita mitre saws have been seen with a variable speed dial. This helps you set the speed of the motor which best suits the material you will be cutting.

We hope the above article will help you select the best miter saw. To buy Makita miter, go to our online store of power tools at Toptopdeal.
