The Bosch GBH 5-40 D SDS MAX Combi Hammer Drill is a simple and efficient solution for SDS Max applications in the construction industry. The strong 1600W motor delivers an impact energy of 13.3 joules. It also features a rotation-stop mode for demolition applications in stone, maçonnery. And light chasing a rotary hammer in concrete, and a new hammer drill was developed to quickly drill through these materials. The SDS parts slip into the chuck and heighten the tool’s hammering action.
SDS Rotary Hammers are similar to Hammer Drills in that when rotating, they often pound the drill bit in and out. Instead of a special clutch they use a piston mechanism which enables them to deliver a much more powerful one. Incompatible with SDS / SDS+ bits, SDS Max is designed for the heavy masonry work.
