Makita B-09298 165mm x 20mm x 48T Wood Specialized Plunge Saw Blade. Blade designed specifically for use with Plunge type saws. Available for cutting both wood and aluminium, they are specially designed for a smooth clean cut. Plunge saw blades carry a similar specification to the Premium Makblade Plus, with a patented technology dampening vibration. The low vibration blades run truer with less wobble easily plunging into the material with little effort. While a circular saw will typically need to start it’s cut from the end of the material, a plunge cut saw will let you start the cut anywhere in the material. This makes it the best tool to use when cutting out worktop for sinks or hobs.
It is used to cut through material, very often wood though sometimes metal or stone. More teeth mean a smoother cut, fewer teeth mean that the blade removes more material.
