Makita DML806 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless L.E.D. Lantern/Flashlight Tool

The new Makita DML806 flashlight from Makita features 12 LED lamps for
wide and bright illumination. A foldable and rotatable will give
the perfect angle to light up your work and the retracting metal
ideal in loft spaces or under car bonnets. This flashlight can be
switched between 12 LED operation for full brightness or 6 LED
better handling and lightweight, under 1kg with the battery it is an
excellent addition to the range of Lithium-Ion tools.

The flashlight provides 12 hours of continuous illumination on a single charge on the full brightness/12 LED setting and 22 hours on the half brightness/6 LED setting when using the fast-charging 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 3.0Ah battery (sold separately).  When not in use, a steel hang-hook swivels 360 degrees and folds away.

As a result, the bulb lights up.  As soon as the torch is switched on, the chemical present inside the batteries produces an electric current.
