This Makita chainsaw has an 18″/45cm bar with a 3/8″ semi-chisel chain and is suitable for the professional or forestry personnel who require a lightweight machine that deals with extra tough jobs with the minimum of hassle. Designed with an external chain tensioner for easy chain adjustment and double mounted clamping for secure bar fitting. The chain is lubricated by a Makita Ecological “intelligent” oil pump that switches off when in the idle mode so saving oil and eliminates oil leaking from the saw.
