Makita LW1400 110V is a 355mm (14″) Portable Cut-off Saw and the successor to the 2414EN. Transport around the Jobsite is fairly simple due to the size and location of the carry handle. This compact cut-off saw features a quick-release vice, a large spark guard with a pin locking mechanism, and a simple transportation Carry handle.
These allow the user to cut straight angles for applications such as door molding. Although abrasive cut–off saws are more commonly used to cut metal or PVC, they can be configured to cut wood with a few simple adjustments.
The Makita LW1400 abrasive cut-off saw (110v) is very compact for the most demanding metal cutting applications, with a powerful 1650W motor. Transport around the Jobsite is fairly simple due to the size and location of the carry handle. The abrasive wheel replacement and the guide plate adjustment can be done with the box spanner given. Additional features include a large ergonomic handle and a power button with a 2-stage lockout.
